We told Conner a week before we left what was going to be happening so that he'd be a little more prepared for the major changes. He was so excited to go to grandma's house that he started asking us every day when we were going to leave. Finally, one morning he came downstairs and asked AGAIN when we leaving, so we told him we would go after church on Sunday... he disapeared for a few minutes, and then came back downstairs with his church clothes in hand, and asked if we could go to church. So we started marking off the days on a calender so he could see when the time to go was here.
