We went bike riding today. Conner was SUPER excited. (Super being this child's new favorite word). First, we got Addy ready, then we got a cute bike helmet for Conner, and took off.

Conner jumped on his bike and sped right out of the garage. We couldn't keep up at first, but we finally caught up.

This is another first for us as parents... Since he's our first child, Conner has taught us a lot about what we need to be prepared for, with children. For example, Conner was the first to let us know that when a person is pregnant, and her water breaks, it might be a good time to find a hospital. He was the first to show us how far a baby can pee while having a diaper change. He was even graceful enough to let us know that it didn't matter if we were in the middle of church or a final exam, when it was time to eat, IT WAS TIME TO EAT! Conner was the first to let us know what it's like to have an allergic child, and what it's like to have to wash clothes with certain laundry detergent because of skin sensitivities. And now, we're at another one of our firsts. Conner is kind of like our test child... Since he's the first, he tests everything out so we know what to, and not to do with the rest of our children. And now, we're on bike riding. We've already learned that a slightly loose helmet is no good! (Good thing Conner is such a good sport with all this stuff). Conner did wonderful on his bike today... We are proud parents of our little guy!

  1. That is so fun to read about all the things that you have learned with having Connor. He looks so good on his bike. Zeeli has a little bike like that and just loves it.
