lots of fun. . .

Sometimes I feel like this blog has two purposes. The first being to show pics of my cute kids (not biased at all), and the second being to show what a slacker I am because I never get on to post. Oh well. . .

Andy thought it would be fun to watch a movie camped out in the front room and eat dinner. (I had no interest in eating dinner sitting in a tent on the floor while pregnant. . .slacker, I know)

We went to Grandma and Papa's house for Conner's birthday and the 4th of July. Conner had so much fun decorating his cake and opening presents. Andy, Papa, and Conner also went to do go-carts, bumper boats, and mini-golfing and had a wonderful time. I thought they would laugh at me if I asked to get in a bumper boat, so we decided it should be a boys day.

The kids had fun with sparklers and watching the parade.

We went to a lego store were you could pick out individual lego pieces. . . I think Andy had as much fun as Conner.

Two baths later and I think we were still finding paint on Addy's face and ears. (this was some stubborn paint)

I think we wore Conner completely out.

Addy asked Grandma to help in the kitchen every morning. She helped make pancakes the first morning and I think she requested them every morning thereafter so she could help some more.

Grandma got Addy a pair of sunglasses and she would not take them off for days.

Grandma and I made a few sock monkeys and Addy fell in love.

We found this on the window on our way to bed. I have only seen this view of a frog once, and that was in science class. . . poor frog.

I may have been inspired to make a sock frog. . . and a sock dog too. I don't know how he did not get pictured, but he was even cuter.

I am helping a girl in primary learn to sew and this was our latest project. If I were a few years younger I think I would have had to make one for myself also. She had asked to make a purse and I had seen one of these online so I made up a pattern for her. I am now making a new purse for myself. If it turns out cute I'll post a pic of it. That is if I am not being too much of a slacker. . . ok lets face it you'll probably never see the one I am making now.
