a little love and a little hate. . .

So I am loving the warm weather of the south. Andy on the other hand is dreaming of his beloved snow that we are not going to be getting anytime soon, if at all. Conner is enjoying the weather too,, but I know, like his dad, he is missing the snow too.
So Andy was looking at the halloween monsters that I made on halloween night and asked if I was going to make some thanksgiving ones. ( I was shocked that he was suggesting another craft for me to do. ) I said told him I was thinking about doing one that said give thanks. He then responded, " no, no, it has to pilgrims and indians and a turkey!" (Again I was shocked that he had actually thought this out.) So here is what I came up with. I have to say though that I am not feeling the love for my pilgrims.
Another skirt that I made. This one is made from some old pillow shams that never received a place of honor on our bed. Lets face it, I am doing good to make the bed, forget putting extra pillows on it.

Conner woke up one morning and very excitedly ran out and said, "Mom it snowed a tiny little bit!!" I then told him that no this was frost. He then said, "It's snow frost, can I go out and play?!?!?" (It was 6a.m.)
Finally decided it was time to take down the pool. The boys had fun doing it too.
I told Conner he had to take a bite of spaghetti for every bite of bread. (He loves bread, and would have eaten nothing else.)
Addy trying to do the same.

  1. You are amazing at sewing, you should do something for money.
The weather is getting colder here and the days already seem to be getting longer. We do like the snow though. Zeeli says it's her favorite time of the year, winter.
We miss you guys and Happy Birthday Andy.
