Being a parent brings so many wonderful rewards, like hearing their first word, for one. And to think that you've carried this little one around for 10 months, followed by a labor that lasted so long it could have been powered by the energizer bunny. And this followed by endless days of coaching your little one to recognize, and say, "mommy"... only to realize that her only true desire is food.Addy's first word, (that she knows the meaning of), is 'nana'. Which is short for banana, and Addy's word for ALL food products. Oh well, maybe the next kid will learn the correct first words!
I guess these kids never really learn how much we do for them until they have their own children. Addy is cute.
